Silk sarong, Light Blue and purple , large silk rectangle

This silk sarong is made of habotai silk it measures about 4 feet by 6 feet. What I love about it is the versatility of this accessory. If I go on a trip. I can wear it as a wrap or shawl over an evening dress. It's large enough to wear as a skirt, swimsuit as a cover-up. I can wear it as a halter dress. The colors are light blue, lavender on a white background. I dyed it using an arashi shibori method, a Japanese style of tied resist. This style of dyeing on this piece creates a geometric pattern. This would be a perfect item for travel.


Hand wash with mild detergent and hang to dry, or dry clean. Use silk heat setting to iron.
