This silk sarong is made of habotai silk it measures about 4 feet by 6 feet. The shiny quality of the silk make it look metallic. I think of orchids when looking at the pattern. You will be ready for the island in this sarong.
What I love about it is the versatility of this accessory. If I go on a trip. I can wear it as a wrap or shawl over an evening dress. It's large enough to wear as a skirt, swimsuit as a cover-up. I can wear it as a halter dress or skirt. The colors are green, purple, blue with hints of gold. It is a one of a kind silk fabric. I created the pattern by folding and clamping in a shibori method of Japanese tied resist. It's a beautifully patterned beach cover up.
Hand wash with mild detergent and hang to dry, or dry clean. Use silk heat setting to iron.
