I painted this while visiting a lavender farm in Llerm, France. It was a beautiful place although the day was extremely warm. It was mid June on a bright sunny day. The painting captures the warmth of the day and the bright sunlight. The colors are blue violet, lavender, yellow, green, and rusty red for the roof tops.
