This Expressive Abstract draws one in with the thick application of oil paint and variations in the colors of red. The name of the painting is called "Heart Light". The idea for the painting was about the color Red. I wanted to create a painting with variations of the color and shapes. Most of the painting was painted using a pallet knife so the application of the oil paint is thick and has texture. The colors range from pale pink to a deep red violet. The painting has colors of pink, peach, red orange, bright reared violet both light and dark. There are varying shapes that holds the viewers interest.
