Oil Painting titled :"Cat Rosé"
This painting began as a still life, until my beloved cat Booth decided to jump in. He literally jumped on the table and sat still long enough for me to capture him in the still life. Having him in the picture made it come alive. The wine bottles are rose' bottle so the pleasing pink color. I wanted to balance and harmonize the shades of red in the apples and wine with the greens in the cat and back ground. Booth is a gray and white cat with beautiful green eyes. He really does have a gray heart on his right paw. This is a really sweet painting. It would be a great gift for a cat lover who loves wine. The painting is a standard size 20" x 16" that makes for easy framing.
