This is an original oil painting, that was painted from a location in Southern Indiana. It was painted in an impressionist style using thick paint and expressive lines. The color harmony is very pleasing in a blue, blue violet, red violet, and golden yellow color pattern. It is a winter landscape, however the colors and the sky give a suggestion of the coming Spring. I painted this scene on a canvas, the size is 16 inches high and 20 inches wide to fit a standard size frame, the depth of the canvas is 1/2".
